The People We Send Into Your Home

Every promise on this website ultimately rests on one thing: who actually walks through your parent's front door. So it is worth being specific about how those people are chosen.

Hired for kindness, then trained for skill

Technique can be taught. Patience, warmth, and the instinct to protect someone's dignity are much harder to install in an adult, so we select for those first and train from there.

In interviews we are listening for how a candidate talks about the people they have cared for — whether they describe them as individuals with histories and preferences, or as tasks and conditions. It tells you a great deal.

Screened before the first visit

  • Criminal background checks
  • Verified employment references, actually followed up
  • Confirmation of relevant credentials and experience
  • Insured and bonded, with a care management team supervising
  • Training completed before any client contact

Matching, not dispatching

A rota that treats caregivers as interchangeable produces poor care, particularly with memory loss. We match on the things that make a relationship work: temperament, pace, shared language, experience with the specific condition, and practical fit with the schedule.

If a match is not right, tell us. Nobody should feel awkward asking for a change — we would far rather adjust early than have a family quietly endure a poor fit.

The same face, wherever we can

Continuity is a clinical asset, not just a comfort. A caregiver who has been coming for months knows your loved one's baseline, and is therefore the person most likely to notice the small change that matters. We build schedules around keeping that relationship intact.

Supervised, not left to it

Caregivers are not sent out and forgotten. A care management team supervises, checks in, updates the plan as needs change, and is reachable when something comes up. If you have a concern, you are calling a team that already knows your loved one's situation.
